What’s Coming Up
Stay up to Date with What’s Happening
Our Christmas performance dates are being sent out to parents. Please arrive for 1.45 ready to be seated for a prompt start at 2pm. STRICTLY NO LATE ADMISSION. If you arrive late, please do not persistently ring the bell as this disrupts the performance and unsettles the children.
We desire to build a strong open relationship with children and parents through our open door policy. This we feel provides us with a happy and safe learning environment where children and adults can thrive. Using inside and outside play, we encourage children to explore and learn at a pace they are happy with and provide surroundings they feel comfortable in.
The most up to date news, fresh from the nursery can be found below.
We were visited by Ofsted for an inspection on 18th January 2018 and we maintained our Good rating. The full report can be found on the tab 'Ofsted Inspection report'.
We've been fighting tooth decay at Plumstead Manor Nursery and working with the children on how to care for their teeth. Please read this Public Health England leaflet for information.
Football and Dance
Working with Football Revolution
We've teamed up with coach Robin at Football Revolution to offer dance and football coaching sessions. Coach Robin specialises in delivering dance and football sessions for 2-5 year olds and we have been working in partnership with him and Football Revolution to provide an encouraging introduction to sport and dance.
Feedback for the sessions has been very positive and children are thriving as they learn new skills in a pressure-free environment. Sessions cost £2.50 each (Indoor on a Friday and outdoor on a Tuesday).
Our staff supervise the classes during the nursery day but attendance is an additional cost to the usual nursery fee. Please note that Tuesday sessions roll over if weather is poor but Friday sessions do not. If you would like your child to attend football/dance or both, please speak to the nursery manager.
